WWE Royal Rumble 1991

Underachiever of the Night: Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Overachiever of the Night: Nasty Boy Brian Knobs; Honorable Mentions: Greg The Hammer Valentine, Hercules
Best Non-Rumble Match: The Rockers vs. The Orient Express
This event contains the best Federation pay per view match up to that point (sorry, Randy and Ricky). The fans chanted "USA!" in an attempt to antagonize Kato and Tanaka, both of whom are natural born American citizens. This is also the first pay per view win for Marty & Shawn.
The pop when Warrior tears Slaughter's flag is up there with the biggest ever. The Rumble match is pretty boring at the beginning, despite the presence of Bret Hart; but stick with it, it really picks up. The early Rumble staple of the boring non-wrestling segment resumed when Mean Gene interviewed Sherri. But this did set the stage for the best match in the Warrior's career.
