Every Federation title in existence at the time is represented in this event, with each match featuring the current champion and all that champion's top contenders. The exception is the women's match, which features both the singles and tag team champions and all of their top contenders.

Macho Man's team is the perfect collection of late 80s beloved Federation icons.

Velvet McIntyre became the first wrestler in Survivor Series history to score two eliminations in one match.

The match with the tag teams begins the tradition of weird Survivor Series pushes that were never acknowledged. It's also a long match with severe pacing issues.

I like how Hogan pins the JTTS of the opposing team so his teammates can make the bigger eliminations.
