WWE Survivor Series 1990

Since they squeezed six 8-man elimination matches into one show, the matches are short and choppy. But there's also a lot of cool stuff here, such as:

-Debut of the most iconic persona in wrestling history, as well as the debut of the ultimate symbol of Gobbledy Wrestlecrap

-Bret Hart's first hint of singles stardom

-Tito Santana's out-of-nowhere monster push (even he expresses surprise over this in the book he sleep-walked through I mean wrote).

Sgt. Slaughter became the first man to pick up three eliminations in one Survivor Series. In the very next match, Tito tied this record by pinning the Warlord. Hogan then broke the record with his fourth elimination of the night. There are asterisks galore with these record-setting performances, because this is the one Series in which the survivors of each match then competed in an additional elimination match. For this reason, it must be noted that the Sarge made his three eliminations in one match (and in rapid succession), and that record would stand for five years.

This one is also famous for featuring the first time every member of a team survived. But it's also the second time four members of one team survived, the first being when the Killer Bees and Young Stallions survived their 20-man elimination match in 1987. Both times, Paul Roma pinned a future hall of famer and was among the match's survivors.
