WWE Survivor Series 1991

This event was covered in WWF Magazine, and they incorrectly credited Rowdy Roddy Piper with eliminating DiBiase with a rollup. They also didn't mention DiBiase's audible "reverse, charge" call. For the first time in Survivor Series history, the I-C champion isn't his team's captain.

Another fun Easter egg: this is the pre-Raw era when the Federation would air a television special the Sunday before the pay per view event on USA Network. For the second year in a row on USA's Survivor Series Showdown, The Big Bossman faced Earthquake in a singles match.

Hacksaw and Hercules were on opposing teams in Series 87, the same team in 89, and opposing teams this year. Hercules also found himself wrestling opposite fellow Series five-timer Tito Santana for the second year in a row.
