WWE Survivor Series 2003

This one is a mixed bag for me. I love Kane and Shane McMahon, but their feud was so sadistic and violent I found it off-putting. The theme of this event is storytelling, and it's to the detriment of the singles matches' quality.

The good news is the focus on story elevates the elimination matches. These are among the best in Series history. One match develops characters and feuds, and is the genesis of one of the greatest babyface runs in history.

The other elimination match starts fast and furious, building from there and ending with what would be a career-defining performance for anyone other than Shawn Michaels.
