The match quality here is poor, with only the Valentine-Steamboat match qualifying as "good." But it's really an engaging show, with one big story playing out over the evening and a distinctive story for all the matches not in the tournament. This is a prime example of how the Federation could entertain fans despite not always giving us good wrestling.
Bob Uecker is one of the few celebrities who seemed like he wanted to be there, and he nearly stole the show from Randy. Watch for the cigarette-smoking drunk who grabs Uecker during his entrance for the main event.
During Heenan's match, I think Ventura says Bobby looks like a... nah, maybe not.
In only four of the matches, a babyface went over via pinfall. Three of those wins are the same guy.
